Gorakhpur : On the eve of the 70th Independence Day, a controversial poster of BJP MP Yogi Adityanath has been released by the minority cell of the BJP depicting him as freedom fighter Sardar Bhagat Singh. The poster further says that when Yogi will become the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, ' goondaraj' will end and UP will be free from slavery'. The poster also has photos of UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, BSP president Mayawati, Congress vice-president Rahjul Gandhi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Peace Party president Dr Ayub, who were said to be responsible for the backwardness of the state. However, the BJP MP was not available for comments while other senior party leaders refused to say anything. The BJP minority cell, which brought out a march in the city this morning with the poster, claimed that 'Yogi's actions are similar like Bhagat Singh.' A leader of the cell said," for us Yogi is Bhagat Singh who is concerned for the country and could even sacrifice his life for the countrymen." The Gorakhpur minority cell of the BJP had earlier released several such posters and banners demanding Yogi to be declared as UP CM candidate and depicted him as God. During the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the minority cell had released a poster of BJP leader Yogi Adityanath as the king of Uttar Pradesh and Mr Modi as Chanakya. The text written on that poster says ‘Desh mei Modi, Pradesh mei Yogi.’ Earlier too, Yogi has been depicted as Lord Hanuman with firebrand Gorakhpur MP carrying the proposed Ram Temple in one of his hands.
