Worshiping Kashi Vishwanath temple to become easier



Lucknow : Worshiping the world famous Kashi Vishwanath temple will be easier as Uttar Pradesh government has decided to modify and widen the gully, connecting the temple at a cost of Rs 40 crore. Along with this, UP government has also decided to construct ‘Satsang Bhawan’ in Ayodhya with the cost of Rs 6 crore. Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will lay the foundation stone for the ‘Bhawan’ on August 6 in Lucknow, however, the date was yet to be confirmed by the officials. Official sources said "a narrow gully links with Kashi Vishwanath temple. Most of the time, chances of stampede rises with increase in crowd. To prevent any such unpleasant incident, passage to temple will be widen with Rs 40 crore government fund." Sources said the state government has decided to construct a waiting room for devotees, where they can wait for their turn to pray in the temple. Also ‘Bhandara’ will be organised for the pilgrims near the temple. They said that Samajwadi Party has initiated various schemes to facilitate devotees going to different holy places. UP government is providing 50 per cent concession for those pilgrims who are traveling to Mansarovar and 10 per cent concession for pilgrims traveling to Sindhu region. Also state government is providing 20 per cent concession for Haz Yatra.
