What about CMP of SP-Cong when nothing is common in them: BJP

Lucknow:  BJP has termed the ten-point Common Minimum Programme(CMP) of the Samajwadi Party and Congress as an effort to cover up their differences. "There is nothing common between SP and Congress and this has been proved in the candidates list and the fighting going on between the two in more than a dozen seats," alleged UP BJP general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak here today. Commenting on the CMP released by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and SP national president Akhilesh Yadav here today, Mr Pathak said this alliance is an opportunistic approach by both the parties to grab power in the state when everyone knows that SP government had failed to deliver in the last five years. "Both the parties were symbol of corruption, one at the Centre and another in UP and people have already shown their opposition to this alliance," he further charged. He said that the SP president was just promising what the party would do if voted to power, but is mum on crime and criminals, ruling the roost during its regime in UP. "Corruption in appointments and development works in this SP regime had forced the youths to come to the roads," he added.
