New Delhi:Continuing its strong run at the box office, Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ has reached close to the Rs 200-cr mark in its first week itself, trade sources said.
The sources said the film has earned Rs 197.
53-cr in its first week.

He said that given the continuing craze for the film and a lack of any major film release this week, the film was expected to reach the figure of Rs 250-cr by the ends of the second weekend.

It is expected to sprint towards ₹ 250-cr by Weekend 2,’’ trade analyst Taran Adarsh said.
The film has earned a gross of Rs 276-cr across India in its first week.
With it earning an additional Rs 102.
2-cr in the overseas market, ‘Dangal’ has earned a gross of Rs 378.

Directed by Nitesh Tewari, Dangal features Aamir in the title role of Mahavir Phogat and newcomers Fatima Sana Sheikh and Santa Malhotra as his daughters Geeta and Babita.
The film, one of the most awaited films of the year, has been lauded by critics and audiences.
