War of words between Sehwag, Morgan over India celebrating two Olympic medals

New Delhi : Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag has slammed British journalist Piers Morgan for making fun of India's celebration after bagging two medals at Rio Olympics.
Morgan yesterday wrote on his twitter handle, "Country with 1.
2 billion people wildly celebrate 2 losing medals.
How embarrassing is that? " Sehwag hitting back at Morgan said, "We cherish every small happiness, but England, who invented Cricket, have never won a World cup," the former opening batsman wrote yesterday on Twitter.
However, Sehwag's response immediately went viral on Twitter with over 5,000 retweets and 5,600 likes in two hours.
Mr Morgan shot back, saying had Kevin Pietersen still been playing, England would have won the world cup.
Sehwag responded, saying that Pietersen was originally from South Africa and not England, and had played the 2007 Cricket World Cup, which England went on to lose.
Indian woman wrestler Sakshi Malik bagged bronze medal in 58 kg category and P V Sindhu won the first ever Silver medal for India in Badminton women's singles.
