Varanasi - Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism, Mahesh Sharma said that visit of Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will not just boost the tourism in temple city but in the entire country.
Mr Sharma, who visited Varanasi on Dec 5th to inspect the arrangements for December 12 visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with his Japanese counterpart, said India and Japan shared a warm relations and visit of Mr Abe would result in increasing the Japanese tourism in India, as scores of pilgrims from Japan come to India every year.
He said, officers had been asked to keep a strict vigil on every thing in the view of the visit by two PMs.
The minister also inspected the Cantt railway station of the district along with the nearby places and ordered for the cleanliness. He ordered to plant tress in front of the railways station and to develop the land like that of a park, outside the Babatpur airport and hoist the national flag.
Mr Sharma appealed to the party workers to keep a watch on everything and especially on the cleanliness.
