Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath Government has decided to throw open its proposed Industrial policy for public scrutiny and invite suggestions from people about the new policy which it wants to implement in the state by the end of this month.
The new Industrial policy will be launched when Yogi Government completes 100 days in the office on June 29.
The decision to invite people’s suggestion was taken in the review meeting of the Industrial Policy which was chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here last night.
Chief Minister cleared the draft of the Policy with amendments and said that the proposed draft should be uploaded in the website of Department of Industries for people’s suggestions.
“Incorporate the suggestions of industrialists, retailers and common man on the streets so that this policy becomes people friendly. Our aim is to invite investments in the state and people’s suggestions will help us in making our policy investment friendly,” CM said and added that policy should be such that investor can get all redressal at one point only.
He said the new policy should focus on inviting investments in Bundelkhand, Purvanchal and other backward areas of the state. The emphasis should be given to the micro, small and medium industries so that youth can get employment.
“State has a vast potential to tap investments. What we require is to identify those areas,” he said
