UP govt transfers 8 IPS officers



Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh government today transferred eight Indian Police Services (IPS) officers changing police chiefs in Saharanpur, Jhansi , Deoria, Ballia and Barabanki districts. According to official sources here, DG Homeguards Pramod Kumar Tiwari has been made DG Rules and Manuals. SSP Jhansi, Manoj Tiwari has been shifted in the same capacity to Saharanpur while SP Barabanki Abdul Hamid would be the new SSP of Jhansi. SP Lalitpur Mohammad Imran has been made the SP of Deoria in place of Prabhakar Choudhury, who has been made SP of the adjoining Ballia district. Commandant PAC Gonda, Raju Babu Singh has been made the SP of Barabanki while DIG Headquarters Vijay Kumar Garg would be the new DIG personnel. SSP Saharanpur Pradeep Yadav has been made SP SCRB in Lucknow.
