UP CM sets up panel to probe into illegal tree felling neat Taj Mahal

images (6)Lucknow,Jul 3- Taking a serious view of the illegal felling of trees around Taj Mahal in Agra ,Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has set up a three member committee to probe the matter. The committee would be headed by Commissioner Agra division. Other members of the committee would be Additional Conservator of forest Ajay Dwivedi and Conservator of forest Agra circle Manoj Sinha. In a statement issued here tonight, Government spokesman said the committee has been asked to submit its report to the government at the earliest. The decision of the government came following Supreme Court taking strict objections to felling of over 500 trees around Taj Mahal. It has sought details from the government on this matter. In another decision chief minister had decided to digitalise all government orders. CM is likely to make the decision public tomorrow, spokesman said.
