UP CM gives stern warning to officials over L&O, developmental schemes

19th Sep -Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav  gave a stern warning to the district officials saying that the government will not tolerate any laxity in the matter of law and order and developmental/welfare programmes.

Mr Yadav, who made a sudden visit at the meeting of the District Magistrates, Divisional commissioner and CDOs at the Tilak Hall in the Vidhan Bhawan campus in the state capital, warned that the DM and the SPs would be held responsible for any outbreak of communal violence in their jurisdiction.

He also asked them to hold a meeting with the people to sort out their grievances.

The meeting was scheduled to be addressed and reviewed by state chief secretary Alok Ranjan but the sudden visit of the CM made the meeting more serious for the district officials.
