Unnecessary delay in official work is punishable: CS


 

Lucknow :  The state government has issued directives that officers responsible for unnecessary delay in official work will be punished. UP Chief Secretary Deepak Singhal has instructed concerned officers that they should be settle official work on priority rather that to attend meetings. He said that concerned officers who hold their official work for more than three days will be punished. Mr. Singhal said that officers should take decisions on their level rather than to transfer their workload to other officers. He said that accountability of each officer must be justified. UP CS said that senior officers should directly communicate with public and resolve their problems on priority basis. Mr. Singhal passed these orders in a meeting with principle secretary finance Rahul Bhatnagar and secretary finance Mukesh Mittal and other principle secretaries.
