Srinagar: The train services resumed this morning in Kashmir valley after remaining suspended for a day due to security reasons.
The separatists had called for a strike yesterday in protest against the killing of a youth allegedly in security force firing on June 6 evening at Shopian in south Kashmir.
“All the train services have been resumed today,” a railway official told UNI.
He said train service between Srinagar-Badgam and Baramulla in north Kashmir has been resumed this morning.
Similarly, the trains between Badgam-Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region were also running as per schedule.
