‘Taare Zameen Par’ painting competition for differently-abled children in city

Hyderabad : Celebrating Children Day with festivity and colours, Round Table India, an Indian arm of international organisation spread all over the world organised ‘Taare Zameen Par’, a unique painting competition for differently-abled and physically challenged children in city today.
The children revealed in colours and were royally treated with their choicest dishes like Noodles, Machuria, Biryani, and were also given Food Hampers, Give-Aways besides prizes.
The Painting competition saw participation by 520 children from different schools such as Helen Keller School, Child Guidance Centre, Green Special School, Oral School, Genesis School, Akshyaya Aakrtuhi and Sweekar Upkaar. Speaking on the occasion, Round Tabler Sandeep Choudhary, Coordinator for the event said that Taare Zamen Par is a National Initiative of Round Table India where Painting and sketch competition is organised for the differently-abled Children to help children unravel their hidden Skills. This competition was organised across the Country. It is being organized for the past eight years. The competition was simultaneously held in Hyderabad, Guntur, Vijayawada and Vizag as well as all over India today. A total of nearly 1500 children took part in both the Telugu states and nearly 40,000 have taken part across the country.
