Surgical attack was first action of PM Modi in his 2 and an half year regime: Rahul Gandhi



Bulandshahr(UP):  Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today spoke on the surgical strikes at PoK by Indian army and expressed his full support to the government as well as to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr Gandhi , who was very critical on the governance of Mr Modi during his 19 days ' Deoria se delhi Kisan yatra' in Uttar Pradesh, however, for the first time today lauded the role of the PM. "I too support him when PM works. But it was for the first time in his 2 and a half year regime, that Mr Modi's action was like a PM. I fully support and congratulate PM for his action," Mr Gandhi said while commencing his yatra through a road show in the city. "I myself and entire Congress party is with the PM and the government. I also thank the Indian army for their sacrifices made for the country," he commented. Mr Gandhi further said that the entire Hindustan have supported the government and Indian army for their deeds. But later he said that as the yatra was on the farmers issue hence, the PM should not be spared for his lapses to address their problems. He again raked up the issue of waiver of loans of the farmers and to hike the MSP of their produce beside decreasing their electricity bill. Later, he also took memorandums from the farmers of the Bhatta- Parsaul area who came to attend the yatra. Mr Gandhi commenced his yatra from Bulandshahr today after a gap for a day when he went to Guwahati yesterday. The yatra will conclude at Delhi on October 5 after covering Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Hapur, Baghpat,, Shamli, Saharanpur,Deoband, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut. However, the Congress vice- president will also not hold the yatra on October 2 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. But surprisingly, Rahul Gandhi's yatra will not go to Etawah, Etah, Aurriya and Mainpuri, the strong hold of the ruling Samajwadi Party.
