SP to boycott Spl Parliamentary session on GST tomorrow

Saifai, Etawah:  Terming the Goods and Services Tax (GST) as 'black law', the Samajwadi Party today announced that it will boycott the special session of Parliament summoned by the NDA Government tomorrow in connection with its launching. SP General Secretary Naresh Agrawal alleged that instead of benefitting the country, GST will drag the trading community down to slavery. "GST will neither benefit the traders nor the common man of the country," he said. "After implementation of the GST, the trading sector would collapse and financial crisis would arise in the country," Mr Agrawal said. Mr Agrawal, who was here to celebrate the 71th birthday of party leader Ram Gopal Yadav, said his party had already opposed the Bill in Parliament and was in support of traders.
