SP organises dalits sammelan, attempt to dent vote bank of BSP in UP

Samajwadi-Party-logoAzamgarh, Jul 11- With a message that the Samajwadi Party is the real supporter of dalits, the party today orgainsed a dalit sammelan to woo dalit vote bank of Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP). SP MP from Badaun Dharmendra Yadav in the parliamentary constituency of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, participated as the chief guest in the Dalit Sammelan. Happy with the number of dalit SP supporters despite heavy rainfall, he said now the policies of SP government were reaching the dalit class. BSP chief Mayawati saw them just as a vote bank, he alleged. Mr Yadav said the SP government increased their reservation from 21 to 23 per cent while the Ambedkar village scheme and pension scheme were launched by their government. He also said that dalits were not vote bank of one party and the example was seen during the 2012 Vidhan Sabha elections. On an optimistic note Mr Yadav claimed that this Dalit Mahasammelan was going to bring a massive change in the coming 2017 Vidhan Sabha elections.
