New Delhi:  Former Samajwadi Party leader Gaurav Bhatia today joined BJP in presence of national president of the saffron outfit Amit Shah at the party headquarters here. He joined the party in presence of party National General Secretaries Bhupendra Yadav and Arun Singh at the party headquarters. Mr Bhatia, who was also the additional advocate general of the Uttar Pradesh government during the SP rule, while addressing a press conference after joining the BJP said, it had become hard for him to continue serving the party, which was moving away from the ideals of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia. He said the foundation of the Samajwadi was finishing and there was no value of loyalty and sincerity left and it had completely surrendered to the "dynastic politics". He said he had resigned from the SP on February 5 and was waiting for an opportunity. where dedication and honesty would be respected and it was the BJP that would give the same. Showering praises on Prime Minister Naredra Modi and party national president Amit Shah, Mr Bhatia said, it was Mr Modi's mission of 'I am new India' and the able leadership of Mr Shah that motivated him to join the party. "It will be a proud moment for me to work for the organisation, which has respect for everyone," Mr Bhatia said. Mr Bhatia later met the party president also.
