Security reviewed for disputed site in Ayodhya: new CCTV cameras to be installed

IN29_AYODHYA_260052fAyodhya, Aug 11- Security authorities today reviewed the security system at the disputed site in the Ramjanambhoomi here and has recommended to install more CCTV cameras and upgrade the present ones around the permises. According to official release, the state officials along with senior policemen went through the disputed site and reviewed the security arrangements besides taking stock of every hook and corner. They also checked the metal detectors and other security equipements installed in and around the disputed site. The authorities said the security should be more stringent in view of the threat perception from the terrorists during the coming Independence Day and the festivals. Later, the officials held a meeting at the Manas Bhawan where they had recommended for new CCTV cameras and upgrade the present one. The meeting was attended by Director General of Police Security Gopal Gupta, DIG CRPF, with SP Intelligence, Ramjanambhoomi reciever Suryakant Mishra along with senior officials of the Faizabad district. Such security meeting, however, is held every three months in Ayodhya.
