Section 144 imposed around class 10, 12 exam centres in north Kashmir’s Bandipora

 Srinagar : To curb the menace of copying and other unfair means during Bi-annual examinations for class 10 and class 12, the authorities have imposed restrictions under Section 144 CrPC in and around examination centres in north Kashmir district of Bandipora. An official spokesperson here today said that to ensure smooth examinations of Class 10 and Class 12 bi-annual session with effect from May 28, 2016 to June 06, 2016, restrictions have been imposed by District Magistrate, Bandipora in and around all examination centres. This step has been taken to curb the menace of copying, unfair means and upholding the sanctity of the examination. Any congregation of five or more people and copying material around these centres have been banned. This order shall be remain in force till examinations are over in the district. However, the order shall not apply to security force and police was deployed for the purpose of maintaining law and order in nominated examination centres.
