Samsung launches upgraded J series smart phone

Bengaluru :  The cluttered smart phone market in the country both with home grown sets at various price points and popular brands, Samsung to attract a larger clientile today announced the launch of two models in its 'J' Series.

With the smart phone makers vying with each other to give new features and longer battery life, Samsung has come out with two innovative features in its highly successful Galaxy J series, with one of them in the sub Rs 10,000 price point.
Samsung India Vice President for mobile business Manu Sharma launched the two models, revised Galaxy J2 2016 and Galaxy J Max with the latter coming with a seven inch WXGA display for a better video view.

He told newsmen here that for the first time Samsung would be launching a model exclusively for Indian market with technologies developed at its Indian Research Development Centre.
He said the Galaxy J2 2016 with a price tag of Rs 9750 has been redesigned, re-engineered and re-loaded with new Make for India features such as Turbo Speed Technology (TST) and smart glow a next generationcolour Led notification system.

TST was a revolutionary innovation which provided superior device performance including native apps loading upto 40 per cent faster than devices with double the RAM.
Galaxy J MAX was for a smartphone buff looking for a total entertainment experience on a mobile device. with a seven inch display panel it offered immersive viewing experience.
it is powered by a 4000 mAh battery enabling full day media play back and has 200 gb expandable memory. It has been priced at Rs 13,400 and would be available after July 20, while Galaxy J2 2016 will hit the market from July 14.
