New Delhi : Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan has sent his reply to the notice sent to him by the National Commission for Women over his ''rape analogy''. Talking to a news channel, National Commission for Women chief Lalitha Kumaramangalam said Salman had sent his reply through his lawyer to the notice sent by the NCW. However, he has not apologised for his comments as had been demanded by the NCW. ''We have received Salman Khan's reply through his lawyer. He has not apologised and we are studying his reply,'' the NCW chief said. A controversy had erupted over Salman's comments at a press interaction during the promotions for his upcoming film Sultan. In response to a question on the hectic shooting schedule for 'Sultan', the actor said, “It is like the most difficult thing….When I used to walk out of that ring, it used to be actually like a raped woman walking out.” The comments caused a furore across the country. The NCW had taken offence at the statement and had given the Bollywood actor seven days to apologise for the comment.
