Sydney : Continuing her winning spree, star Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal stormed into the finals after defeating second seed Wang Yihan of China in the Australia Open Super series here today. The 26-year-old Hyderabadi shuttler outplayed Yihan 21-8, 21-12 to clinch the semi final affair. Saina started off the match on a good note by putting in a flawless display of body-line smashes. She structured a big lead and never allowed the Chinese player to get a foothold in the game. Having won the first game 21-8, Saina continued her dominance in the second game as well. She raced away to a big lead. Although Wang tried to bounce back in the game, in the last, Saina proved superior to seal the game 21-12 . However, in men's singles category, it was the end of roads for the Guntur-born Kidambi Srikanth as he was prevailed over in the semi-final by Hans-Kristian Vittinghus of Denmark 22-20, 21-13.
