The annual all India brainstorming session of the 'prant pracharaks' (regional campaigners) of RSS which concluded here, saw the RSS leaders, including Bhagwat and All India Campaign Chief Manmohan Vaidya stressing that the evaluation of its numerous units showed that its presence was continuously increasing. In response to a media query, Mr Vaidya denied that the RSS had gained in popularity after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister and credited the untiring efforts of the swamsevaks for the Sangh’s constant growth since 2010. The session mainly discussed the future strategy including expansion of organisational expansion and challenges, with Mr Bhagwat stressing that the atmosphere at present was conducive for expansion and the Pracharaks should make the best of it. The Sangh would introduce innovative measures, like year-long pledge for environment conservation, equality campaign for lower classes from December on the occasion of centenary year for Baba Saheb Devras and other new programmes to woo the underprivileged and deprived classes, traders and students among others. It was also decided during the session that in view of Bihar Assembly polls, the prant pracharak in Brij, Dinesh Kumar have been assigned to work for BJP.
