Rajkot: India were all out for 488 in 162 overs in their first innings after England's reply of 537 runs of the first Test on day 4 of the five Test series at the Saurashtra Association cricket stadium here this afternoon.
Though Ashwin did put a brave effort scoring 70 runs they were all out for 488 giving England 49 run lead of their first innings.
With an overnight score of 319 after losing four wickets, India started their day adding 169 runs after which the hosts were all out for 488. Skipper Kohli who lost his wicket before lunch, Ashwin came out and added a useful 70 runs for his team. However, Ashwin was caught off to Ali's bowl. Saha and Kohli also added 35 and 40 runs respectively.
