Agra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be addressing a public meeting here in the Taj city on November 20, to join the ongoing Parivartan yatra in Uttar Pradesh to get the power in the state in the coming Assembly elections early next year. The security forces including the elite SPG have already started making preparation for the PM's Sunday programme at the Kothi Meena Bazar rally ground. This would be the first meeting of the PM in Agra after he addressed an election rally on the same ground in 2014. Senior BJP leaders are also monitoring the arrangements and they were all out to bring people from 20 Assembly segments braving the present scenario of the country where majority of the population were standing in the queue to get cash or exchange from the banks, ATMs and post offices. However, to relief for the BJP leaders, as it would be Sunday hence, there would be no queues at the banks and post offices and crowd could be pulled in the rally. The PM's rally is a part of the six public meeting to be addressed by Mr Modi in each of the six regions of the state. Earlier on November 14 he addressed a similar meeting in Ghazipur in eastern UP. Meanwhile, BJP has been doing everything to popularise the PM's programme. Over 50 special hoardings highlighting Mr Modi's 73 policies are being displayed inside the rally ground at Kothi Meena Bazar. Besides another 500 hoardings put up across the city by different BJP leaders. The party is expecting a turnout of over two lakh people in the rally.
