Petition filed against Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Allahabad HC

357948-salman-khan-qawwaliAllahabad, Jul 7- A Public Interest Litigation(PIL) was today filed against Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan produced by Kabir Khan under Yash Raj banner for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindu community. The petition was filed by Chitrakoot's social activist Anil Pradhan and the hearing on this case has been fixed for July 9. In his petition Mr Pradhan mentioned that the name of film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" was named to insult Lord Hanuman, and the word Bhaijaan in itself is objectionable. The shooting of the film started on November 6 last in Jama Masjid of New Delhi. A scene in the film depicts that actor Salman Khan was shown dancing with artists who wore a mascot of Money, which gave resemblance to Lord Hanuman, which has hurt the religious sentiments of Lord Hanuman's preachers. Mr Pradhan said that the release of this flick can cause grudged between the two communities as it is also releasing on the occasion of Eid, which has been done knowingly.
