Omar's jibe on scribes taking selfie with Modi

Srinagar, Nov 29 - Taking a dig at the journalists who were seen taking selfies with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his Diwali Milan event, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah asked if this is how the media acts, how do people expect them to ask tough questions to the Central government.

“This is the media we expect will ask tough questions of this government? Great visuals of an undignified selfie circus!!!” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Mr Abdullah was referring to the visuals of journalists jostling with each other to take selfies with Mr Modi after the Diwali Milan luncheon meeting at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in New Delhi.
