images (6)Lucknow, Jul 21 - On the directives of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the state's traffic police has also come on the social networking platform, in order to improve the traffic system in Uttar Pradesh. The traffic police department started to use the social networking sites on July 1 last in 16 prime cities and a review meeting on the same was today chaired by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhielsh Yadav. Addition Director General of Police Anil Agarwal here said in the first stage Ghaziabad, Mathura, Lucknow, Agra, Moradabad, Aligarh, Muzaffarnagar, Varanasi, Meerut , Allahabad and few other cities were linked on the social media and separate groups were made for every districts. Mr Agarwal said people of the respective cities can give advices AND share problems on social sites like Twitter, Facebook and Whatsapp. He added that pictures and videos can be shared only through whatsapp. The initiative was taken to improve the regulation of traffic system in the state, Mr Agawal added.
