Lucknow : Political drama over the presence of Bihar Chief Minsiter Nitish Kumar in the rally of rebel Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader R K Choudhury was witnessed in the state capital today, forcing the Janata Dal (United) chief to stay at the VVIP guest house for around three hours. The drama started after the Lucknow authorities refused to give permission for holding the rally at Bijli Pasi fort in the Ashiayana area of the state capital last night. But adamant supporters of Mr Choudhury refused to shift their rally to be nearby smriti Upvan as suggested by the authorities. With a deadlock between the authorities and the supporters of Mr Choudhury, Bihar CM arrived in Lucknow at 1200 hours from Patna.
But authorities asked him to stay at VVIP guest house rather than going to the rally spot. However after three hours of deadlock between the the authorities and the supporters of Mr Choudhury, at last permission was granted at 1500 hours and thereafter Mr Kumar left for the rally sport from VVIP guest house. Talking to reporters at VVIP guest house, Mr Kumar expressed his annoyance on the role of the district administration." They allowed us at last but wasted our valuable time unnecessarily," he stated. Earlier the authorities refused to give permission to the rally expressing its apprehension on the security of Bihar CM at the Bijli Pasi fort. Mr Kumar had been criticising the UP government for the past couple of months for not going for prohibition in the state like Bihar.
