Jail Superintendent P L Pandey confirmed that Mr Yadav was closetted with Prajapati in the prison for about an hour, after taking prior permission. The SP leader also met the party's youth leaders who are in jail for showing black flag to chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Mr Yadav, yesterday, too wanted to meet Prajapati in the jail, but authorities declined permission as it was a holiday due to Eid-ul-Fitr. On the directives of the Supreme Court, Prajapati was put in jail on March 15, 2017, after his arrest in a gangrape case.
