Modi govt should also respect Muslims: Azam Khan

56318Rampur, Jul 18- Uttar Pradesh Minority Welfare Minister Mohammad Azam Khan today said the Nadrendra Modi Government should also respect the Muslims of the country and they should be treated equally. "The Modi government should not cut the budgetary allocation for the minority development and the Muslims should be given equal opportunity by the Central government," Mr Khan said while addressing media persons here after attending the Eid Namaz. The minister also blamed the Centre for trying to do ' drama' over the Clean Ganga project as they were not doing their work honestly." Only making projects and giving it to the state government would not solve the problem and such act would not make the holy Ganga clean in next 2000 years," he claimed. "The Centre was trying to keep itself aloof from the responsibility of Clean Ganga project which is unfortunate," Mr Khan added.
