Srinagar: Life remained crippled for the second successive day today in central Kashmir's Budgam district where separatists have called for condolence meeting to mourn the death of eight youth in security force firing during bypolls in Srinagar parliamentary constituency on April 9. A police official told UNI that there were no restrictions in any part of the Budgam, though security forces remained deployed in strength to maintain law and order. Shops and business establishments were closed and traffic was off the road in entire Budgam, where very few private vehicles could be seen plying on some interior routes. Additional security force personnel, wearing riot gear, have been deployed in the district.
