Kidnappers leave teenagers after they felt their parents are no more rich

idah-poly-registrat-kidnappedJalandhar, -The kidnappers abducted two teenage boys from Shivaji Nagar near Reru chowk last night to fetch an handsome ransom of Rs two crore but their dreams got off in the air after they soon came to know that the boys kidnapped are no more the children of rich people who could meet their demand of paying a ransom of Rs two crore in lieu of their release. The kidnappers abducted Lakshay (7), son of Ram Kishen, a scrap vendor and Abhishek (13) son of Subhash when both were playing outside their houses in the street. Soon after both the boys were kidnapped, parents of both received calls on their cell phones demanding a ransom of Rs. one crore each from them. They immediately informed the police about the kidnapping. The police issued an alert in the district. When the parents of both the children told about their business and explained that they were not in a position to pay the ransom amount, the kidnappers left Abhshek near Kahanpur village near Reru chowk while Lakshay was left near Club Cabana on Jalandhar-Phagwara highway. Maksudan police claimed that it had traced out the cell phone numbers of the kidnappers and that the kidnappers would be in the police net soon.
