Kidnapped teenage cousins rescue themselves



Jalandhar :  Two teenagers rescued themselves from the clutches of their kidnappers, who abducted them to extort ransom from their parents. According to police, Shahid Alam and Abdullah Khan were brought by their uncle Maulana Naseeb Azhar some days before for studying in the Madrassa at Sirhind from Purnia in Bihar. They told police that when they came out of the madrassa, around six men caught hold of them and forcefully led them in a four-wheeler. The youth jumped out of the vehicle and hid themselves in a shop near Alaska Chowk. The shopkeeper informed the police, who took the custody of both. Police, after recording their statements, started investigations.
