The BJP today said the Mehbooba Mufti-led ministry will be sworn in on April 4 in Jammu and Kashmir, brushing aside reports of differences with its alliance partner, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP-BJP will carry forward an Agenda of Alliance (AoA), which is 'unconditional' to provide good governance to the people of the state, it affirmed. ''AoA is our guiding book, which is 'unconditional' and it is sacred for PDP vis-a-vis committment for us," Dr Nirmal Singh, BJP's nominated candidate for Deputy Chief Minister, told UNI here.
Dr Singh said in more than two-month period after the death of chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on January 7, PDP-BJP leadership was in constant touch. Both the parties, he said, settled the matters and there were no differences at all. "Alliance with PDP was not political but of governance and we will carry forward it in the interest, welfare of the state," he asserted. The BJP stalwart said that the government formation will finally take place on April 4 morning with PDP Mehbooba Mufti swearing-in as first woman chief minister of the state at the Raj Bhawan.
