Indian Army to start online recruitment by Oct end

str 2Ambala, Jul 14 - The Indian Army is starting online recruitment to make the recruitment process flawless and transparent. Stating this at a press interaction here today, Army Recruiting Director Col Vinesh Rana said the registeration of the prospective candidates would also be made on line and the new system would be implemented by the end October 2015. He said that there would be automated recruitment and there would not be any manual play. Col Rana said that the Army was going to conduct a recruitment rally from July 21 to 28 at the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex Ambala City. The candidates from Ambala, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Kaithal, Karnal and Kurukshetra districts besides Union Territory of Chandigarh would be selected for different categories including the general category of jawans. He informed that only those candidates had been called who fulfilled the required minimum qualification prescribed for each of the categories. He, however, was unable to clarify the point on the recruitment of Sikh Mazhabi and Ramdasia candidates for who extra conditions had been imposed. The Sikh (M&R) candidates were asked to affix joint photograph with their father with turban on their heads and must have parents class certificates also. Col Rana claimed that whole of the process of recruitment was fair and transparent and there was no scope of any favouritism since the recruitment was conducted in full view of the general public. He said that the recruitment was conducted in different stages in the presence of of a number of independent members of an officer rank detailed by the higher headquarters. He appealed to aspirants and their parents not to fall prey to touts and not to waste their hard earned money since touts could not influence recruitments and help the recruiting organization in apprehending such anti-social elements.
