India set 376 runs target for New Zealand after posting 263 all out in 2nd innings

Kolkata :India set 376 runs for New Zealand to win after posting 263 all out in the second innings before lunch on 4th day of 2nd Test at Eden Gardens here today.
India made 316 runs in the first knock after wining the toss and then bowled out the Black Caps 204 in 53 overs.
India resumed the day with overnight score of 227 for loss of eight wickets at the end of third day with not out batsmen Wriddhiman Saha (39) and Bhuvneswar Kumar was on 8.
The duo stitched 24 runs together in the 9th wicket before pace bowler Kumar was out on 23 from Neil Wagner delivery as he misjudged a rising ball giving a close catch to Henry Nicholls.
It was Wagner 100th wicket in 25 Test matches.
Interestingly on the other side of the wicket local groomed wicktet-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha made his successive half-century with a boundary off Mitchell Santner at short fine leg in 113 balls.
It was Saha's 4th Test half century in 17 Tests.
In the 1st innings of the 250th Test match on Indian soil here 31-year-old Saha was 54 not out.
Saha once again remained not out at 58 in 120-ball.
Md Shami was last to go on 1.
Trent Boult, Matt Henry and Mitchell Santner shared 9 wicekts among them, while pacers Boult (3/38), Henry (3/59) and spinner Santner 3/60.
