I am not impacted by controversies: Shahrukh Khan

Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has been in the eye of a controversy recently over his comments on 'intolerance', said he is not impacted by the controversies.
Even as Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has demanded a boycott of his film "Dilwale" , which will hit screens tomorrow, Shah Rukh says he is unfazed by these things.

Earlier, Shah Rukh was also attacked by BJP leaders like Yogi Adityanath and Sadhvi Prachi over his comments on 'intolerance'.
While Yogi Adityanath compared his language to that of Jamat-ud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed, Sadhvi Prachi asked him to go to Pakistan.
'People tend to satisfy their desire of being heard and getting noticed by standing on the shoulders of public figures.
This happens all the time but especially at the time of your movie release.
However these people form a small section.
In any case people of the country have given me so much love over the years that such things neither impact me nor my work,' the superstar said in a chat with mediapersons during a promotional visit to the capital for 'Dilwale'.
It is notable that the actor got a lot of flak on the social media over his comments that there is extreme intolerance in the country.
In this context, the actor said, 'Several years ago I was told by a well-wisher that the day I earn fame, I will be at a greater risk of landing in controversies."

"I have a name since a lot of years now, Mashallah, and now it (controversy) happens every week or month… It’s strange that mostly it happens around the release of a film.
There are opportunist people," he added.

On the leak of the story of 'Dilwale' on the social media prior to the film's release, Shah Rukh said, 'the story that is doing the rounds of the social media is not the actual one, even assuming that it is the actual story of the film, every filmmaker has his own unique style of storytelling.
The stories of most films are more or less the same.
It is the filmmaker's style of filmmaking that makes it different from the rest.'

Directed by Rohit Shetty, 'Dilwale' will release tomorrow with the popular pairing of Shah Rukh and Kajol after several years.
The film also features Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the key roles.
