New Delhi, Dec 2 - In another brewing controversy involving the Censor board, already under fire for snipping kissing scenes from the James Bond film 'Spectre', sources in the film trade said that the forthcoming 'Hate Story 3' is being subjected to heavy cuts by the board.
The Censor board, helmed by filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani, has directed the cutting off of certain words and scenes in the film, which showcased some really hot and steamy scenes in its songs and trailers.
Sources said that the Censor Board, has cut off all the 'f-words'and has also done away with the Sanskrit word for sex from the movie.
The sources close to the Censor Board says that the filmmakers of 'Hate Story 3', have voluntarily deleted the steamy scenes while sending it to the Board.
The trade observers see it as another example of the Censor Board increasingly acting as a 'moral guardian'.
Earlier, the Board has also come under fire for cutting some scenes from Pan Nalin's 'Angry Indian Goddesses', which hits screens on December 4.
