Haryana govt invites proposals to set up driving institutes



Chandigarh :  Haryana Government has invited proposals from automobile manufacturers to set up institutes of driving training and research at Karnal, Jaisinghpur Khera in District Rewari and Dharuhera in district Jhajjar in public-private partnership mode. The land for the institutes would be provided free of cost by the state government. A spokesman for the Transport Department said the proposals should reach the office of the Transport Commissioner by October 10, 2016. The institutes would be established in collaboration with the automobile manufacturers as per the guidelines of Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, available on the Ministry’s website http://morth.nic.in.
