Governor Ram Naik dismisses two UP ministers



Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik today dismissed two Cabinet Ministers on the recommendation of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today.
Chief Minister Mr Yadav wrote to the Governor for the removal of Mining Minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and Minor Irrigation, Animal Husbandry and Panchayatiraj Minister Rajkishor Singh. Mr Naik, accordingly, ordered dismissal of the duo, sources in the Rajbhawan said.
Now the Chief Minister Mr Yadav will hold additional charge of portfolio of minor irrigation and animal husbandry departments while the portfolio of panchayatiraj department has been entrusted to social welfare minister Ram Govind Choudhury and mining and geology departments to minister of state (Independent charge) for horticulture Moolchand Chauhan, the sources added.
