Mid Day MealsAllahabad, Aug 18- In an important direction in order to improve the condition of the government schools, Allahabad High Court today ordered peoples' representatives, bureaucratics and judges children to study compulsory in the government schools. Justice Sudhir Agarwal gave these direction on a petition of Shiv Kumar Pathak and others. The judge maintain that till the children of peoples' representatives,officers and judges study in these government schools, the condition of the government schools would not improve. In the directive the court, asked the state chief secretary to consult the officials and ensure that the children of the officials, judges and peoples representatives, who are paid from the state exchequer, should study compulsory in the government schools. The court also said that if any officials, peoples' representatives or judges send their children to convent schools then they should deposit the same amount in the state exchequer every month what they are spending on their fees. The court also went to the extent of saying that the officials and others who do not obey the orders, their promotion and other benefit should be stopped. The single bench gave the UP government to formulate a law in this connection within six month's time and report back to the court. The court also took strong exception on the part of the state government over vacancy of 2.70 lakh posts of teachers in primary and junior government schools in the state.
