UP doctors protest against attack on colleagues in Kolkata

Lucknow: On the call given by the Indian Medical Association(IMA) over the attack on the medicos in Kolkata, doctors in the government hospitals in Uttar Pradesh on Friday observed a protest wearing black badges and boycotted their work for two hours. In Lucknow, the doctors at the KGMU and other government hospitals joined the protest by wearing black badges and boycotted their work for some time. Later, they brought out a march from IMA building in the state capital to Shaheed Smarak to show their solidarity with the Kolkata doctors. Protests were reported at the government hospitals in different parts of the state.
