Sidharth Rawat qualifies for main draw of Yinzhou Challenger

Chandigarh, Top seed Indian Sidharth Rawat defeated Zhao Zhao of China 7-6 (3), 1-6, 6-1 in two hours and 11 minutes in the final singles qualifying round and move into the main draw of the $162,480 Yinzhou International Men's Tennis Challenger in Ningbo (China) on Tuesday. Sidharth Rawat next meet Yosuke Watanuki of Japan in the first round match. In the final qualifying round, Sidharth fired seven aces and committed two double faults in comparison to two aces and four double faults by Zhao Zhao. Rawat saved five of nine break points and won four out of 12 break points.

Zhao Zhao saved eight out of 12 break points and won four of nine break points. Top seed Prajnesh Gunneshwaran of India got a first round bye and meet Max Purcell of Australia. Gunneshwaran is partnering Vishnu Vardhan in the doubles and their first round opponents are Spanish duo of Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Enrique Lopez Perez. Indian Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan is pairing with Adil Shamasdin of Canada in the doubles wher they face Australian pair of Alex Bolt and Matt Reid in the first round.
