Hyderabad, All is set for the five-day 22nd National Congress of the CPI (M), the highest decision-making platform of the party, beginning here from tomorrow amid elaborate arrangements.
The Congress is expected to address several issues including a broad based platform against the Sangh Parivar and will deliberate and pass as many as 25 resolutions besides electing a new General Secretary of the party.
More than 780 delegates, leaders of other left parties including CPI General Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy besides 70 observers will attend the Congress.
The conference will take up discussion on the political resolution and political organisational report besides 25 important resolutions covering all aspects of social and political life and passed in the Congress.
Hoisting of the party flag by a senior party leader at the RTC Kalyana Mandapam,in the Bauglingampalli area of the city, the venue of the Congress will herald the meet.
