Panaji, The Congress in Goa criticised Goa Foward Party (GFP) for coming close to Shiv Sena and said its leaders must understand meaning of likeminded parties.
Addressing a press conference at party state headquarters in the city, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) Spokesperson Trajano D'Mello said the GFP leaders must understand the meaning likeminded parties.
" A leader who called the late Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar a dalal and that he is out to sell Goa and that whoever supports him in any form overtly or covertly would be cursed and then goes to support him and claims that he is supporting only Manohar Parrikar and nobody else in BJP. Can this man be trusted? Can be considered to be likeminded?," he said.
Mr D'Mello pointed out that Shiv Sena in Maharashtra could first time talk to the leadership of Congress only after withdrawing from NDA and recalling their MP who was a minister from Union Government while GFP continued to be with NDA.
Targetting GFP President Vijay Sardesai, Mr D'Mello alleged that the man who was saying that he would only support Parrikar and none else brought in this Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and worked under him as Deputy Chief Minister for four months.
