Ambassa(Tripura): Ahead of the Tripura Autonomous District Council elections, the BJP on Sunday attacked CPI(M), saying its ideology is rooted in China.
Speaking at the BJP Karyakarta Sammelan held at Kamalpur in Dhalai district for two booths of 46 Surma Mandal, Dhalai Zilla Parishad Vice- President Anadi Sarkar said, "CPI(M) has its ideology rooted in China. They are not bothered with this country and her people."
Pointing out the difference between his party and the CPI(M), Sarkar said, "The main root of BJP is deep rooted in Bharatitwa. In this land of Matri Shakti(Women power), we call our native land as mother land. Here lies the difference between BJP and CPIM."
Sarkar claimed that CPI(M) was voted out of power primarily for its ideology.
He said CPI(M) was decimated in the state and its inability to field a single candidate in the three tier Panchayat election reflected the fact.
"This will continue in the coming days, too, as the people would continue to boycott them," claimed Sarkar.
In the conference strategy for the coming ADC election, promotion of incumbent state government's welfare schemes and projects and the way out to defeat the opposition political parties were chalked out.
In the conference loacl BJP leaders like Shankar Chakraborty, Chaya Chakraborty, Matilal Debbarma, Sunil Das, Sujit Biswas and others were present.
Hundreds of karyakartas from the two booths attended the conference.
