Karnataka CM H D Kumaraswamy his Gram Vastavya programme from June 21

Kalaburagi: Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy will stay at Chandraki village of Gurumitkal taluk of Yadagir district as part of his 'Grama Vastavya' (Village Stay) programme from June 21. According to the Yadagir Deputy Commissioner M Kurmarao, Chief Minister's office had selected the Chandraki village, known for its backwardness, and is expected to get a face-lift for hosting the Chief minister. Kalaburagi Regional commissioner Subodh yadav already directed the deputy commissioners and Zilla panchyat chief executive officer to make all necessary arrangements for the village stay programme of Chief minister H D Humarswamy. He said that the chief minister will stay over night in Chandaraki village in Yadgir district on June 21, Heruru (B) village of Afzalpur taluk of Kalaburagi on June 22 , a village in Sindhanur of Raicur districts on June 28 and another in Basavakalyan taluk of Bidar districts on June 29. Social welfare minister and District in-charge minister Priyank Kharge on Sunday visited the Heruru village of Afzalpur taluk of Kalaburgi district and held a preparatory meeting for this event. Kharge also interacted with the officers and discussed about the arrangements made to facilitate for the CM's village stay.
