CPI(M) office vandalised at Rampur by ruling BJP: CITU

Shimla, Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) district secretary Vajinder Mehra alleged that CPI(M) party Election office at Rampur was vandalised by ruling BJP goons on Wednesday. In a statement, Mr Mehra said that fearing defeat from secular forces in the Lok Sabha elections, the ruling party has initiated politics of violence everywhere in country. "They have been attacking their opponents throughout India. The BJP workers has now attacked CPIM office in Rampur of HP ", he said. He said that stones were pelted on the party office which was set up for campaign of CPI(M) candidate Daleep Kaith in the fray for Parliamentary constituency Mandi. According to him, he window panes and other glasses of the party office were broken. Mr Mehra alleged that the whole state machinery is working on the tunes of BJP. He said that he was sleeping in this office when it was attacked early hours at 0125 hrs on Wednesday. This is the new kind of Bharat we are building under the leadership of Narender Modi and BJP where intolerance has crossed every limit and even election process is marred with it, he added. The left party CPI(M) and CPI are fighting on two seats of Mandi and Hamirpur parliamentary constituency in the state. CITU is politically affiliated to the CPI(M).
