Lok Sabha election to decide the fate of the country: Nitish

Banka, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today exhorted people to cast their votes in Lok Sabha election in huge number as the election was going to decide the future of the country. Addressing an election meeting at K P B S College ground here, Mr Kumar said that the people`s participation in the voting process was supreme and so they should cast their votes in maximum number as the election was also going to decide future of the country. He said that if India had to be built as per dream of Dr B R Ambedkar, father of the constitution, the participation of every section of the society in the election was a must. Mr Kumar said that country and Bihar had made all-round development under the efficient leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Centre had allocated Rs 50,000 crore to Bihar for the construction of roads, bridges and culverts, he said adding that work on Patna Metro and also on the enhancement of Barauni refinery`s capacity had commenced. Chief Minister said that the country`s influence had increased owing to the impressive performance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s five-year tenure. Happiness has been brought to lives of poor due to the execution of hundreds of welfare schemes including Kisan Samman Yojana and Ayushman Bharat. "Some people want to divide society by creating hatred among various sections but my government works for creating a strong social bond," he added.
